I flew out to see it, drive it, and

talk with the owner. I bought it that June and
had it shipped directly to
Rob Grady to be prepped for the AZ summers. The car came from the
PO
with a chromed Island Twin Turbo kit installed. I had Rob install my
custom
wheels and spacers, one of the two-off Dakota Digital Dashes I had
commissioned,
and had everything tuned, replaced, repaired to make it perfect. Rob
did his
job and

did it very well. I received the
car in AZ in June of 2002, just days
before the DeLorean Car Show in Memphis, TN. I drove across country and
back with no incident and took home the Unpainted Modified trophy.
Since then the car routinely
places
first with a second this year at the Arizona Britain World of Wheels
show.
Most recently at the Arizona MG car club show in October of 2004 I
garnered
first place in the DeLorean category, beating out two immaculate
DeLoreans
with half the mileage that my car has. I've modified the car even
further

to include LED
underbody lights, halo halogen headlights, cat's eyes, interior
switches to control the above and interior blacklight and ropelight, a
starter
button and guarded toggle to prevent unwanted starter grinding, a Sony
Explod
sound system powered by 1300 watts, 3 amplifiers, and 14 speakers, LED
third
brake lights and turn signals, an FM 2-mile remote start pager alarm
system
complete with chaser LED's (installed by TIMMAY) and the culmination of
work
to be complete sometime in early 2005: a custom fiberglass lighted rear
valence
by Evil Dan himself. Will I ever be done? Hmmm, good question. I am not
really sure.

One thing I can tell
you, while she's a work in progress, I'll fly by you
in the daytime with the turbos spooling, dazzle you with the light show
at
night, and I'll ALWAYS have time to give you a ride.
