No, you didn't miss one
The 'Zine took an extended leave due to a host of factors, most of which I'm not gonna get into here. It still lives on! Here are some highlights of the year to date:

Holiday Party/Officer Changes (12/11/2010)
Our flagship event of the year, held at the The Federicos' place in Stanfield, was as awesome as ever! Great food, great fun, raffle and gift exchange, and members from 3 states attended. As John Spangler moved to New Mexico in November, we had some officer changes within the club. Johnny Sawyer is now VP, and Gary Adams is now the club treasurer. Congrats and thanks for stepping up!

Irish Parade and Faire (3/12)
Submitted by Tom Spearman
AZ-D was well represented in this year's Irish Festival and Parade. Gary, Dan, and I were at the faire while Doug (in Johnny's car), Frank and Hugh & Laura drove in the parade. Once again, Gary was an outstanding Doc Brown, fielding questions all day while Dan and I drank hard cider and beer.

Rob Grady Tech Event (3/26) *Now 100% Rob free!*
The annual Rob Grady Tech Event was short one Rob Grady this year, but Danny and Don from DeLorean Motor Center in Garden Grove, CA were able to drive out to see us on fairly short notice. We had some amazing times getting a car to start after more than 20 years and got to know new members better in person and check out their cars. Many great thanks to Danny & Don for making this event more technically functional, and we hope to have them out our way again soon! Hopefully next year Rob's schedule will clear up and he can come to AZ and bring some rain (almost every year when he visits it rains like crazy!) Again we had members from three states; Chris Mack came from CA, and John Spangler even drove from NM as a surprise!
A whole day of great food, friends and hard work in the West Wing couldn't last forever, and once day turned to night Johnny and Sherine let us enjoy their brand new backyard setup including a video presentation of Monster Garage starring Don Steger, who gave us bits of insight from filming.

3rd Annual AZ-D Scavenger Hunt (4/23)
Last year's winner was this year's host and clue-maker so our day was in the hands of Felix Allen and his family! The hunt started wherever you are and ended at the hosts's house, where we were expecting food, beverage and entertainment! Seven Teams drove around the Valley collecting odds and ends like Pirate's Booty snacks, Silly Putty, and a soundtrack album on vinyl. Everyone had fun but there was only one winner, Doug Beck and his girlfriend Sarah. We can only imagine what the list is going to look like next year! Many thanks again to Felix's family hosting our event at their house!

EuroFest in Northern Ireland (5/26-29)
Felix Allen, Johnny Sawyer & their families attended EuroFest in Northern Ireleand this year. Yeah, read that again. They went to see the factory, the test track, and just soaked up gobs of DeLorean info. Expect a presentation at the upcoming 9th of July Pool Party!
