Casa Grande Downtown
Historic Car Show - Several
members attend this event every year and have a blast! Also, this is a
great event for spouses, as the entire downtown area is blocked off for
arts and crafts booths and vendors! We had three
DeLoreans in
attendance last year, we are aiming for 4 this year! (Note: We had 5 DeLoreans and a
Bricklin!)

Monthly Lunch/Mini Tech Event - This
month we are going back to John Spangler's house/garage in
Tucson. If you have any minor work that needs to be done to your
car, this is the place to do it! Be at John's by 11:00 AM to start the
tech. Lunch will follow.

Rob
Grady Tech Event - Come one, come all, to the largest AZ-D tech
event of the year, starring Rob Grady! Let us know in advance what work
you will need done to your car. Also, get your orders in to Rob at
least two
weeks prior to the event! We will be meeting at the West Wing (Johnny
and Sherine's House/Garage)! Sherine will be serving breakfast, lunch
AND dinner! Last
year we set a record and had 15 DeLoreans in
attendance!!! |

Car Show @ Heritage Square
in Phoenix. This is the only car show
in the state that gives us our own DeLorean class! Let's see if we can
top our record number of DeLoreans!

2nd Annual AZ-D Driving Scavenger Hunt
- Search for prizes around YOUR town, which have different point
values, then we all meet for dinner (and awards of course) at Tom's
house! This is NOT a race, and there is no need to
speed! See the Yahoogroup
post for details. (Congratulations to
Felix and family for getting the most items! They will be planning next
year's event!)

Phoenix Comic-Con (was Mesa
Comic-Con) - This will be the second year that AZ-D has been invited to
attend this show. Members will
be able to show their cars on Sat and Sun! Note: This is the same event
from January of last year, but it has moved from Mesa to the Phoenix
Convention Center for space reasons.

DeLorean Car Show (DCS) in Lexington, KY. AZ-D had a GREAT
turnout in Vegas for DCS 2009. Let's see if we can have a great turnout
for Lexington!

3rd Annual July Pool Party
at Tom's House! The last two
years were
a huge success with AZ-D. Tom and Janice
treated us to their home with baked goods, a movie theater, a huge
backyard pool, pinball machines, a great raffle, and sooo much more!
This
event will be in place of the July
monthly
lunch. Drive your DeLorean and get five free raffle tickets!
